Welcome to the Mario & Sonic Club, dedicated to crossing over, and paying tribute to, the two most well-known video game icons in history: Nintendo's Super Mario and SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog.

With the release of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, and the announcement of Sonic's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, crossovers between the two gaming icons are now officially a reality. No longer a dream from the heads of many fans wanting to see the two together in a game...

Apologies for not paying any attention to this club. Been focusing mainly on Sonic & Klonoa crossover stuff, really. That said, I still hold some interest in Mario & Sonic crossovers, and with that, I will keep running this club as long as you guys need it.

Hmm, what do you guys say we start a contest now? We have enough members to do so, don't we? Comment.

Simply commenting on the front page will not get you anywhere. Notes are the only way to go.

Submitting

As of 11/19/07, the old submissions will remain in the gallery. However, there are new rules regarding submissions:

-Your submissions must now contain elements from both Mario and Sonic. Such examples include Mario and Sonic posing together, Sonic in Mario's clothes, Bowser and Eggman scheming together, etc.
-No copyrighted sprites (even edited ones) or any other copyrighted artwork. It is against deviantART's policy, and the only exceptions to this are stuff made completely from scratch.

Plus, as it is with all my other clubs, your submissions may not get accepted if they're simply not good enough to be put in. The galleries in all of my clubs are like halls of fame: only those decent enough will be put in.

Our Policy on Favorites

This policy is simple: DO NOT fave the deviations on the club gallery itself. If you want to fave something you like on the club, there is a link within that pic's description. Click on it, and it'll lead to the original pic found on that artist's gallery. Fave the original pics instead.

This does not apply to club exclusives, though. You are safe to fave those.

If we catch any of you violating this policy, you'll be booted off the club or, in case of non-members, reject your request to join.
